Brad Frey is so grateful for having an opportunity to direct and vocal direct the SHS Musical Club. Classically trained in piano and french horn, Brad's career is filled with experience not only as a musician and composer but as a theatrical director, musical director, and producer.  A former educator with 39 years of service in public education, he is currently the Musical Director for Theatre Three’ “A Christmas Carol” in Pt. Jefferson, NY, having held that position for the last four years. He is the former Choral and Theater Director at Roslyn High School, Roslyn Heights, NY, and Director for the Royal Crown Players. His choruses performed at Carnegie Hall, Madison Square Garden, Avery Fisher Hall, Shea Stadium, the Nassau Coliseum, and the Tiles Center.   He has directed and musically directed over 300 performances. He is currently serving as the Music Director for Studio Theatre of Long Island ("Aida"). He has served as director for the Broadhollow Theatre, East Islip High School, and Farmingdale State College.  Along with his direction, he has penned three full-length musicals. "Whammy" (1988)  having written the score, "Tiananmen" (1996), which depicted a historical account of the student massacre in Beijing in 1989, and "AirHeart" (2011) which romanticized the life and disappearance of Amelia Earhart. Brad recently consulted on the motion picture "Bad Education" (Hugh Jackman, Allison Janney) which won an Emmy for best television movie (2020) and appeared on MTV as a featured performer on "True Life": 'I was a High School Freshman' (2009). bradfrey.com
